The New Year is well underway, and at the golf club, it started with a "bang"! As we mentioned in a previous newsletter, our rounds during our peak season (15 December to 15 January) were close to 6000.

In my last newsletter, I mentioned the launch of a new competition with great prizes. See elsewhere in the newsletter for more information. What I can say is that my entry is in! And I invite all those 9-hole specialists to join us on Sunday, 17 March.

The next Rands-in-Raffle and Members Attendance Club Draw will be on Friday, 09 February 2024. Club Pool A is standing at R5000.00 with Club Pool B at R5000.00 and Club Pool C at R1800.00

We are already in February which normally produces extremely hot and humid days, and the last day of January was no exception with temperatures in the mid 30’s.

The next Rands-in-Raffle and Members Attendance Club Draw will be on Friday, 02 February 2024. Club Pool A is standing at R5000.00 with Club Pool B at R5000.00 and Club Pool C at R1400.00.

This past weekend saw some history being made, as amateur Nick Dunlap became the first to win a PGA Tour event, since Phil Mickelson did so in 1991.
